This animation shows NASA’s plans to send future astronauts to the Moon and possibly Mars using two rockets, one for the cargo and one for the passengers.

This animation is of the Mars Science Laboratory that will be launched in 2010.  Below is a video showing the innovative way they plan to land it on Mars.

Ooma: The amazing disappearing phone bill

image

I just picked up my Ooma Voice over IP Phone last night.  Compared to what I used to be using, MagicJack, the quality is extremely high with excellent reliability.  I found it on NewEgg for an excellent price.

You basically get unlimited phone calls for your ENTIRE LIFE anywhere in the US with no monthly fees ever.  Just the initial cost of the device, currently hovering just above $200 dollars.

“It doesn’t take a magician to make your phone bills disappear. It just takes ooma™. Simply connect the device to your high-speed Internet and phone, and, presto, your phone bills are no more.”

This is an award winning device that I definitely recommend!

Pandora Desktop and Hulu Desktop Apps Released!

image “With the Pandora Desktop Application, you can play your Pandora stations right from your desktop – without opening a new browser window.”

Pandora also announced new premium features.  Now premium subscribers can get access to better stream quality, the new Pandora One desktop app, and an ad-free experience for $36/year. That fee will also get rid of one of the most annoying restraints on the free version of Pandora, the limit of 12 skips per day.

“Hulu Desktop is a lean-back viewing experience for your personal computer. It features a sleek new look that's optimized for use with standard Windows Media Center remote controls or Apple remote controls, allowing you to navigate Hulu's entire library with just six buttons. For users without remotes, the application is keyboard and mouse-enabled. Hulu Desktop is a downloadable application and will work on PCs and Macs. Watch the Hulu Desktop Intro Video
