Update: Burning Movies you own, rent or borrow

So in a previous post I mentioned ways to burn movies. DVD X Copy is not something I recommend anymore. It is old, buggy, and crashes a lot. Also, it is not compatable with newer DVD burners. But luckily, there is a new and improved program, and best of all, its F-R-E-E! You can download the latest copy at DVDShrink.org

Mr.Bass has written a lot of great interactive guides at DVDShrink.info

Also, if you have Nero burning ROM previously installed, you can automatically burn the movie after you extract the movie to your hard drive.
