Minor planet #24200 Peterbrooks was named in early march...

It
looks like the Brooks family name has finally got some recognition from the Universe, a main belt astroid has been named in my Uncle's honor, way to go!

24200 Peterbrooks Discovered 1999 Dec. 6 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team in Socorro.
Peter Brooks mentored a finalist in the 2008 Intel Science Talent Search (STS), a science competition for high school seniors. He teaches at the Stuyvesant High School, New York, New York.

Peter is also the founder of a software company called MicroMind
